We are pleased to announce that the Creative Humanities team have arranged a visit for Y7 to visit the National Slavery Museum in Liverpool on the 24th & 25th May.
This will compliment and bring to life the learning for our next Year 7 expedition entitled ‘Slavery’.
We will be taking part in a tour of the museum and working through an investigative booklet.
If you would like your child to take advantage of this opportunity a few things should be understood:
School uniform must be worn.
This day is for working hard and is not a social activity.
A packed lunch must be brought as we will be in transit during ‘normal’ lunch hours.
Expectations of behaviour whilst representing the school remain as always of the highest possible standard.
The pupils should arrive back at school no later than 4pm, however as always if this time changes on the day, then your child will be instructed to contact home in good time.
