Year eight student Caitlin Crossdale put her best foot forward to raise money for Cancer Relief.
Caitlin walked from Manchester to Todmorden to net money for the charity after hearing two friends of her family were suffering from the disease.
Her 25 mile trek garnered over £235 –donated by family, friends and fellow pupils of Burnley High School.
Caitlin said: “A friend of my dad’s and a friend of my step-brother have both been diagnosed with cancer so I thought It would be really worthwhile to do something.
“It was quite hard as I got to the end but will be worth it when the pledges come rolling in.”
