They are rocking around the clock at Burnley High School.
The school’s new rock club is allowing students to look at music from the use of instruments to writing lyrics and behind the scenes roles.
Creative arts teacher, David Jeal said the aim would be to see the pupils performing at some stage in the future.
He added “The students are practising and getting to know instruments and are building up gradually to becoming musicians.”
Club member Jake Petre said: “I come to the club because I love music.”
And fellow student Joseph Clarke added: “I enjoy my time in the rock club because I can express my love for raps.”
