Slavery – outlawed but not abolished

Year sevens were given an insight into the horrors of the slave trade when they visited Liverpool’s Albert Docks museums. Walk On, Walk On….

Year eight student Caitlin Crossdale put her best foot forward to raise money for Cancer Relief.   Caitlin walked from Manchester to Todmorden to net money for the charity after hearing two friends of her family were suffering from the disease.   Her 25 mile trek garnered over £235 –donated by family, friends and fellow pupils of Burnley High School. … Read More
