Speaking about Terrorism

Every week in form time we have a ‘thought for the week’ which initiates a discussion around a news point or opinion. In light of recent tragic local and national events, it is natural that our students may (or may not) want to discuss their feelings and emotions and we would like to help them do this in a structured way.

Therefore our ‘thought for the week’ this week will be a structured discussion on recent terror attacks. Form tutors have clear guidance from the DfE on how to communicate reagarding these attacks with our children, the clear messgaes will be those of safety and reassurance.
